Welcome to Easingwold Deanery
Easingwold Deanery is a group of 24 individual churches, part of the Diocese of York in the Church of England, clustered round the market town of Easingwold in North Yorkshire.
A warm welcome to Easingwold Deanery's website.  On this site you can find information about the people and places we serve, as well as useful links to different areas that the Church is involved in.
    What we do...
Our aim in the deanery is to:
    • Help the Body of Christ to grow spiritually
    • Help its members to grow in their relationship with God.
    • Bring those who do not yet know God to come to know him
Our churches are divided into six smaller groups. You can find a link to each group in the menu above, where you will find details of service times and other activities that the churches are involved in, and links to individual church websites where available.
    Easingwold Deanery welcomes...

The Revd Stephen Whiting, Priest-in-Charge of The Forest of Galtres Benefice.  Revd Stephen was licensed by the Bishop of Selby on the 8th May 2017 at St Helen and the Holy Cross, Sheriff Hutton.
    Thy Kingdom Come 25th May - 4th June 2017.

Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer movement, which invites Christians around the world to pray between Ascension and Pentecost for more people to come to know Jesus Christ.

    Archdeaconry of York Prayer

    Generous God,
you look upon us with love and mercy.

Build up your people in this Archdeaconry of York, we pray,
and make your churches places of generosity and welcome,
that we might nurture disciples of your Son.

May we seek to work as partners in mission,
desiring the guidance and strength of the Holy Spirit,
as we live out your Gospel in our parishes.

This we ask in the name of your Son,
    Jesus Christ our Lord.
